This is a tool for automatically removing blank pages.
No one can live without using PDF documents these days. The PDF documents have become the standard of business documents interchange. When preparing PDF documents from scanned pages, quite often a lot of blank pages go into the document. It becomes very tedious to remove these blank pages manually later. If you have more than one document, it is even worse. This is able to scan through a document, detect if a page is a blank and then delete it. If you want to guard against mistakes, you could ask that the deleted pages be saved separately. The utility creates a report about the pages deleted. The program analyzes the pixel values, notifies blanks and removes the page from the source PDF. The tool checks if the amount of dark pixels exceeds a threshold and determine if a page is blank.
Margins can be specified so that page perforations or binder holes are excluded from the determination of a blank page. Otherwise such pages will get detected a not blank. This tool can handle not only large files but many files when doing batch operations. It is possible to deal with only parts of a document too. You can specify page ranges as required. This tool is compatible with Windows platforms, both 32 and 64 bit versions. The interface is simple and no one will find problems getting productive with the tool. As documents are collected for a batch, some stats are indicated for each of them. These are file name, if it has password, no. of pages, pages to be removed, file path and the status. Status indicates if the file has completed processing. This is a good and handy tool.
